Modified DBT Skills Group – by Natasha Smikles
Modified DBT skills group is conducted in a class-like setting. Working modules, DBT teaches clients skillful Behaviour in the following areas: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
Each six-week cycle covers Mindfulness plus one of the remaining three modules.
FALL 2016 Upcoming Groups
- Mindfulness + Interpersonal Effectiveness: Starts Aug 16th, Tuesday 6:30 – 8:15pm
- Mindfulness + Emotion Regulation: Starts Sept. 27th, Tuesday 6:30 – 8:15pm
- Mindfulness + Distress Tolerance: Starts Nov 8th, Tuesday 6:30 – 8:15pm
Cost: $500 for six group sessions (includes DBT skills training manual)
