I have over 20 years of experience working with youth in an educational setting after obtaining a B.Ed degree from the University of Manitoba. I realized that I was also ‘counselling’ along with teaching and therefore decided to complete my Post Baccalaureate and then Masters in Counselling from University of Manitoba in 2013.
Charulata Gupta can provide counselling services in Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati and Urdu.
My approach includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I incorporate Mindfulness and Expressive Arts Therapy techniques such as art, journaling and cooking to empower my clients. I believe that counselling is all about a healthy body, mind and spirit.
