Profile Information
Liezel Amador is a Registered Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with individuals and families. Liezel has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and has a special interest in working with young adults. Liezel offers individuals professional support and guidance in addressing and managing mental health concerns. This may include individual, couples, or group therapy sessions, as well as specialized services such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, or other evidence-based approaches. Liezel’s goal is to help individuals improve their emotional and mental well-being, manage symptoms of mental health disorders, and develop coping skills for dealing with life’s challenges.
Liezel uses a variety of therapeutic modalities to provide counseling to individuals and offers a flexible and holistic approach to mental health and well-being. It is important to utilize a variety of different techniques and approaches in order to address the unique needs and concerns of each individual client. This may include traditional talk therapy, family therapy, or other evidence-based techniques. By using a combination of modalities, Liezel aims to provide clients with the most effective and personalized treatment plan possible.
Type of Service
I provide clinical social work services to individuals and offer professional support and guidance to people in addressing a wide range of personal and social problems. With experience working in schools and child welfare, I have extensive knowledge of community resources, advocacy, and am able to assist in connecting with collaterals. I am experienced in providing crisis intervention and case management. I believe it is important to focus on improving the well-being of clients and address issues such as mental health disorders, relationship problems, and life transitions.
Sessions are being offered in-person and virtually. New clients are currently being accepted.
