Philosophical Counsellor
Emily Muller is a Birch Wellness Center professional.
Philosophy…is able to suggest many possibilities which
enlarge our thoughts and free them from the tyranny of
custom. Thus, while diminishing our feeling of certainty as
to what things are, it greatly increases our knowledge as
to what they may be. — Bertrand Russell

Profile Information
Who said it was supposed to be easy? Frustration and agonizing over who you are or what you should do next can be intelligent, rational responses to the human condition.
Therapist Notes:
Throughout history, philosophy has offered courage and solace to many. Discussion can take you further and faster toward creative solutions to real problems – back and forth is so much better than around and around.
Philosophical techniques are appropriate for adults (or mature teens) wishing to look critically into life’s challenges for opportunities to do more than just survive unruffled. It is for anyone running the high-stakes and avoidable risks of living an unexamined life. I currently offer free initial consultations to prospective clients.
