I use a number of therapeutic approaches based on the needs of my the individuals in my care. I pride myself in using unique modalities to suit my client’s individual needs – including expressive art (drawing, painting, collage etc), writing/journalling, outdoor activities (nature walks, basketball etc), hobby building (model kits), board games, traditional practices (sweat lodge, smudging, use of sweetgrass and tobacco on request) and vision boards.
I work from person-centered framework that is tailored to the needs of the individuals that I am working with. This helps to ensure that my clients are always treated with dignity, compassion and respect.

Therapy
Often clients present with recurrent problematic behaviours and thought patterns that are holding them back, personally, and in their relationships with others. I work collaboratively with my clients to support them in behavioural, cognitive and emotional changes. I incorporate the latest mind/body interventions such as EMDR, Brainspotting and Mindfulness, which promote rapid change on neurobiological and emotional levels, resolving past and current events in a safe and holistic way.
I also offer consultation for new and experienced therapists. Working in this field can be incredibly rewarding as well as exhausting and at times, overwhelming. Through my years of experience and training I provide a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment for therapists to receive care and guidance in order to offer their best selves to their clients.
