Conditions and services:

Osteopathic Manual Therapy

Osteopathic Manual Therapy is a therapy that uses manipulation on the whole body – skeleton, muscles, ligaments, and soft tissue – to reduce discomfort, improve joint movement, and restore the person to full health.

Osteopathy goes back to Hippocrates who claimed that the “cure of diseases lies within the body”, and was devised in 1847 by Andrew Taylor Still, an American doctor.

Muscle tension and misaligned bones place unnecessary strain on the whole body. Adjustment of the bodies’ structure leads to restored function and self healing.

Benefits of Osteopathic Manual Therapy:

· Effective treatment for acute and chronic pain.

· Helps in relaxing muscles and breaking up scar tissue.

· can increase joint movement beyond restricted range of motion.
