Therapy Notes

Being human can be really hard.

In therapy, we can co-create an atmosphere that is receptive, safe for you to share, facilitates growth and helps you make sense of what currently doesn’t.

I been practicing as a registered social worker and mental health therapist since 2015 and have over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate challenges. I am committed to infusing evidence based practice with the professional and personal strengths I bring to the table.

  • Areas of exploration can include (but are not limited to):
  • Tools for emotional regulation, stabilization and recovery.
  • How unmet expectations you have of yourself, of others, or from others may be impacting you.
  • How to effectively work with guilt and shame.
  • How to acknowledge the voice of your inner critic and change the story you have been telling yourself.
  • How to identify when you may be projecting your past onto others.
  • How to match what you feel with what you say, also known as congruent communication.
  • How to apply self-compassion when you need it the most.
  • How to connect to the community care you may be seeking while practicing your own version of what self-care looks like for you.
  • How to change the fear of being selfish and start practicing what it means to be self-full.
  • How to set and maintain boundaries by saying no to others and yes to yourself in ways that are healthy and constructive.
  • Trauma-Informed
